This trial is enrolling 60 participants with spinal cord injury to test the effect of functional electrical stimulation (FES) of the quadriceps muscles on spasticity, muscle strength, and functional mobility. FES is a technique that applies electrical stimulation through the skin to nerves to cause contraction of weakened or paralyzed muscles. If included, participants will be randomly assigned to receive either conventional neurorehabilitation alone or rehabilitation combined with FES for 8 weeks. FES will be provided 5 days per week. Final testing will be performed after 8 weeks.
