Vibrant Capsule for Spinal Cord Injury Neurogenic Bowel Dysfunction

About this trial

This pilot trial is enrolling 12 participants with chronic spinal cord injury to test the effect of a vibrating ingestible device on bowel function. If included, participants will swallow the Vibrant capsule, which delivers gentle vibratory stimulation to the colon as it passes through the gastrointestinal tract. Final testing of bowel function and safety outcomes will be performed after 4 weeks.
